| HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
wishing everyone an awesome 2007~ *
2006 memories (just to name a few in random order as they appear in my head):
- working on French magazine with Jackson & Clara (and staying up all night to finish it) xD
- summer school!
- walking to Point Grey with Carlton
- realizing at 12:30am the night before a presentation that my printer in fact does not print on transparencies and having to draw out maps by hand with washable felt pens
- studying for finals at Starbucks ^^
- Banff (+ the looooong bus rides to Banff)
- Whistler (+ crazy drama-watching with Serena & Emily)
- 'hallway chats' with Serena @ Whistler
- job-hunting with Carman (+ realizing that I put the wrong phone # on my resume)
- christmas concerts!!! =D
- planning for Glen to go the the Christmas concert
- being really late for morning choir only on days where there was a concert "><
- new york fries with Carman & Lena xD
- beach party at the end of the school year with everyone (and almost stepping on a dead rat)
- the first time I ever played piccolo *
- drinking bubble tea with Winnie during Chinese school
- talking about going jogging with Rita (only talking about... sadly)
- trick-or-treating with Carman & Clara
- trips to richmond with Serena (and singing loudly when we walked back from the bus stop to my house xD)
- boxing day shopping with Clara
- super long conversation/rant sessions with Louise/Carlton
- volunteering at CCC with Louise
- snow fight!!! xD
- doing chem homework with Hannah (and getting everything wrong!! woohoo!)
- baking cookies with Louise
- yearbook spreads with Yumi =)
- doing those 'pot luck' trivia quizzes in yearbook class!
- farewell party for Josh (and the fish ><)
- cursing trig proofs with Adam
- grade 10 concert choir - the song All For Me Grog (something like that): the thing I did with my eyes (CARMAN! DO YOU REMEMBER? XD)
- IB interview
- applying make-up in science class with Clara & Carman
- PE dance routine with Carol ^^
- sleeping in math class xD
- sleeping in physics class
- shopping downtown with Carlton (+ having difficulties finding Robson St.)
- late night 'snack' at Cabin 5555 with Alyssa, Andrea, Cathy, Florence, and Vivian =D
- SAT book purchasing with Lena
- Q6 trivia (we got to 2nd place...)
- the many times that someone had said something along the lines of 'Hi Stella' and I can't remember his/her name ><
... and the list continues... (did you read the whole thing?)
To sum it up, 2006 was a memorable year for me...
It's both the ups and downs that made it such a great experience
I can honestly say, I'll smile because it all happened =)
Thanks to everyone who had some sort of an influence in my life this past year, however big or small ^^
It just wouldn't have been the same without you.
And now for a kick-ass 2007...

| Last year winter break: crammed Planning 10 project into 2 days (Yale University presentation) with Clara
This year winter break: will cram french presentation/interview into 2(ish) days (probably)
It's nice to know that some things don't change?... lol... xD
Another year has passed... I think New Year's Day gets less and less significant every year... but it's some sort of a landmark date that's supposed to make us reflect on what we've done over the past 365 days and plan out what to do the next 365...but the thing is:

... then why do we bother only pick out a fresh start every 365 days... why not whenver we feel necessary?
I guess I'm rambling on a bit...
